I can’t believe Halloween is tomorrow! It seemed the perfect week to consider all things black and be inspired by that. I am always intrigued by variations in the shades of black. Our perception of color can be very relative so if we consider a dark color in relation to white, it can seem black. On closer inspection we may find that the black leans slightly towards green, blue, or brown. Then there are those deepest shades of charcoal which look black but are easier on the eye than the stark contrast offered by a true black. Take a moment this Halloween week to consider the undertones in the black colors you see around you. Have a great time tomorrow!
